Nominating Committee

A committee appointed to identify and recruit qualified candidates for board positions. The nominating committee may solicit interest from homeowners, verify eligibility, and prepare a slate of candidates for the election. Not all associations use nominating committees; some allow self-nomination or open candidacy from the floor at the annual meeting.
